HICRA was honoured to have Dr Letitia Acquah spend several weeks at our Institute.

During her stay she spent time teaching students at the Hatter and also spent time as a Visiting Physician in the Maternity Clinic, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Groote Schuur Hospital, where her expertise in cardiac disease in pregnant woman provided valuable input and guidance for junior doctors. This complimented the efforts of Prof Karen Sliwa, who established the first dedicated Cardiac Disease in Pregnancy Clinic, together with Prof John Anthony and his team.
